The University of Georgia
Infant Research Laboratory, directed by Dr.
Janet Frick, conducts studies on the development of visual attention and
learning in young infants. Most of our studies
involve parents
bringing their babies (aged 3-12 months) to our Research Center, located
on the first floor of the Psychology Building on the UGA campus, for a one-time
visit. The entire visit typically lasts about 20 minutes, and the baby's
part
is only 5-10 minutes. Click on the research
link to learn more about the specific studies we are doing right now, and to
find out how you can participate.
Parents are welcome to bring their older children to the testing session. We have a play area with books and toys, and have extra staff on hand to play with siblings. Our FREE parking area is right next to the building, and we will wait outside for you with a parking pass. We greatly appreciate your interest!
